The past week I've been commissioned to build 2 new websites for local businesses. As these clients have no clue about html, I had to go and look into new WYSIWYG editors and the appropriate inline image handling in an easy-to-manage fashion! So now I'm reporting back with my 'best' solution :) Now I've played around with a few modules before, but none of them were really satisfying and easy to use. Until I stumbled upon a great video podcast over at mustardseedmedia.com about combining the FCKeditor with Filefield insert module (and Image resize). I've been following Bob's video's for a while now, he provides really great stuff. This method worked really nicely for me.
